I am a certified Trauma & Orthopaedic specialist practitioner with my name in the GMC specialist register. I completed higher surgical training in 1997 and passed the FRCS (Trauma & Orth) and received Certificate of Completion of Surgical Training (CCST). I was appointed Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon in October 1997 at the MidCheshire Hospital Foundation Trust – Leighton Hospital in Crewe Cheshire. I then went to the famous MAYO CLINIC at Rochester Minnesota to acquire further skills in complex hand surgery.
